We will also offer technical advice regarding co-designing and building any of these devices from local materials and expertise anywhere in the world. It is our understanding that the local expertise is viable and materials are available to design and build twenty different types of generators for human development (education, health care, and economic development-based devices), but only through the next five years of teamwork can we illustrate that this is possible. We look forward to having you join our team!


Team Players


The following is a list of people who have joined our team. Some people call us activists or doubt our ability to bring electricity knowledge and innovation for human development to those who typically are considered not able to solve their own problems. We stand with the programs of designing WITH the "Other" and stand up to the ideologies of telling others what to do (neo-colonization) and encourage them to make a paradigm shift. We believe everyone knows what to do, they just need the knowledge, opportunities, and experience to do it.


For example, what is better: (1) an imported solar panel and merry-go-round generator with all the bells and whistles of advanced technology or (2) a locally designed and fabricated merry-go-round generator with primitive technology, but long term operation and maintenance capability? Many say (1) is better, but that is because they do not stick around long enough in a community to see that these devices often break down and when they cannot be repaired, then the community ends up in the same place it was (or in a worse place).
